Work that matters

Learning Futures is a business unit of Adelaide University which offers practical, flexible and industry-aligned professional development for individuals and organisations. ​

Learning Futures is seeking to expand its talent pool of skilled facilitators who can design, develop, and deliver workforce development solutions to our business clients on an as-needs basis. Facilitators will be contracted by Learning Futures where there is a match between what a client is looking for and what a facilitator is able to offer.

We are particularly interested in building relationships with facilitators who have expertise in one or more of the following topic areas:

  • Finance Essentials 
  • Lean Thinking or Lean Six-Sigma
  • Digital Transformation
  • Leadership Development (team leader, emerging leader, senior leader, executive)
  • Service Excellence 
  • Business writing
  • Negotiation skills
  • Change Management (teams, organisations)
  • Organisational Culture 
  • Systems Thinking 
  • Psychosocial Safety
  • Expertise in other professional development topics may also be considered

Core Responsibilities and Experience:

  • Design and deliver engaging learning experiences for adult learners that meet high quality standards.
  • Deliver innovative and creative workforce development solutions for industry and/or government clients.
  • Facilitate group discussions and effectively manage group dynamics.
  • Adapt facilitation style and learning materials to suit different learner groups, settings and delivery modes.
  • Incorporate current and real-world examples and case studies into learning content.
  • Convey complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Prioritise and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Contextualise learning experiences for a wide range of international learner cohorts.

We are also interested in working with facilitators who can program manage a client project from inception through to evaluation, and who can travel regionally, interstate and in the Asia-Pacific region. Postgraduate qualifications are favourable but not essential.
