As the Pharmacist Prescribing Clinical Skills Lead, you'll equip the next generation of prescribing pharmacists with the clinical reasoning, communication and examination skills needed to deliver safe, high-quality patient care. Through clinical skills teaching, simulation-based learning and assessment leadership, you'll play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Prescribing and support the growth of pharmacy services.

We are seeking an experienced clinician and educator with a strong background in patient assessment, clinical reasoning and healthcare education. The ideal candidate will bring experience delivering practical skills training, coordinating assessments, working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and supporting learner success. They will be passionate about advancing pharmacist prescribing practice and committed to developing capable, confident healthcare professionals.

Experience
To join our community and thrive in this role, you will likely have the following skills and experience:
- Qualifications Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent)
- Proven ability to contribute successfully to a multidisciplinary work environment, including excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Demonstrated experience with online learning management systems and information technologies to support student learning
- A student-focussed approach to education, including the ability to provide and respond to high-level feedback
Desirable
- Demonstrated experience in course coordination and innovative teaching methods at a tertiary level
- Experience working in Australia as a medical practitioner and an awareness of clinical resources to ensure teaching materials reflect best practice
- Formal qualifications in health professions education &/or knowledge and understanding of relevant educational pedagogy
