Audio Visual (AV) Technician II

| Under the supervision of the Manager of Media Technology Services (MTS), the Audio Visual (AV) Technician II is responsible for supporting operations and maintenance of the distance learning and video conferencing systems installed in classrooms and auditoria across the UMass campus. These systems support multimodal courses that can be offered face-to-face, online, or in a mixed format, and can have synchronous or asynchronous components. The individual in this position will provide set up and technical support of the audio-visual equipment in teaching spaces across the campus as well as for university sponsored events. Additionally, the AV Technician II will provide training to faculty and staff on the usage of the audio-visual and video conferencing equipment. |
