Post Doctoral Research Associate - Somneuro Lab Amherst
The Somneuro Lab (directed by Dr. Rebecca Spencer) at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst is seeking a full-time postdoctoral scholar for research on sleep, cognition, and brain dynamics. The lab and program environment is rich and based in new research facilities. The Somneuro Lab broadly focuses on sleep’s role in memory across development and aging. We are particularly interested in neural mechanisms underlying sleep benefits to cognition and apply multiple tools to address these questions (MRI, EEG/polysomnography, behavioral assessments). Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Sorority & Fraternity Life, the Coordinator for Sorority & Fraternity Life plans, coordinates, implements, and executes multiple initiatives related to the advisement, education, and support of the University’s sororities and fraternities and their chapter operations. This includes advising chapter and council leadership, development and delivery of educational content, the active involvement in maintaining and communicating chapter status, and assisting with internal and external responses and communications involving the sorority and fraternity community.
