Reporting to the Dean of Libraries and serving as a member of the Libraries' senior leadership team, the Assistant Dean provides strategic direction for communications, marketing, public relations, and executive communications initiatives that advance the Libraries' mission and strategic priorities.
The Assistant Dean serves as the chief communications strategist and advisor to the Dean and senior leadership, leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive communications program that enhances the visibility, reputation, and impact of the University Libraries. This position guides both internal and external communications efforts and works closely with campus partners to ensure messaging is aligned with institutional priorities, brand standards, and the broader mission of the university. |
