Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is looking for an experienced and committed Head Women's Softball Coach to build, lead, and grow a competitive collegiate program. This is a full-time opportunity for a coach who understands that developing athletes academically and personally is just as important as winning on the field.

What You'll Be Leading

Reporting to the Athletic Director, you will have full ownership of the Women's Softball program — from recruitment through to competition. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and executing practice plans, game strategy, and seasonal schedules aligned with NJCAA standards
  • Recruiting, selecting, and retaining student-athletes who reflect the academic and competitive standards of the college
  • Monitoring athlete academic progress and supporting student success in collaboration with advising and support services
  • Managing program budget, equipment, and facility scheduling responsibly and transparently

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated experience coaching softball at the collegiate, high school, or elite club level
  • A strong track record in athlete recruitment within a collegiate or competitive environment
  • Understanding of NJCAA eligibility rules and compliance requirements
  • Ability to build an inclusive, respectful team culture that prioritises student welfare
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with the diverse student populations that characterise Colorado's community college environment
