•  Guidance on BHP Billiton HSE Policies, standards and systems

•  Advice on compliance with relevant legislation, industry guidelines and BHP Billiton requirements

•  Support the development and implementation of management system documentation

•  Co-ordination of internal and external environmental reporting

•  Conduct environmental audits and inspections on a regular basis

•  Development and maintenance of Environment Plans

•  Development and maintenance of Oil Spill Contingency Plans

•  Support government and community liaison on environmental matters where required

•  Involvement in environmental incident response, reporting and investigation where required

•  Conduct training regarding environmental management where required

•  Coordinate and conduct environmental monitoring where required
