Opportunities currently exist for Logistics Officers to join our Exploration Group. Being part of the Exploration Group, you will be at the forefront of our operations.

Working on 8 days on 6 days off roster on a FIFO basis; the Logistics Officer will be responsible for the coordination of the exploration programme. You will report directly to the Exploration Operations Leader and your key accountabilities will include:

• Logistics coordination for both new exploration areas and existing hubs, organisation of equipment requirements, lay-down areas, including; coordinating site preparation, adherence to site prep procedures; and ensure adherence to time and budget;
• Supply and upkeep of exploration camps and crews, e.g. ground geophysics, mapping teams. management/supervision of groundwater/bores, dealings with pastoral owners and notification of upcoming activities, maintenance of access tracks etc;
• Coordinate approvals processes, including PEAHR requirements in consultation with Project Leader's;
• Purchase requisitioning and invoice processing. Submission of capital requirement forecasts in association with Superintendents;
• Show leadership across all aspects of safety; and
• Develop logistic management systems and look for opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the systems.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role you will have completed a secondary education and have experience in logistics ideally with exposure to exploration and drilling in the mining industry. You will also have well developed organisation, communication, problem solving and negotiation skills along with an ability to work within a team environment. Strong computer skills, working knowledge of SAP and possession of a HR drivers licence would be advantageous.
