About the role
The Initiatives Lead is a key leadership role central to the delivery of prioritised TAC initiatives and projects under the Best Client Outcomes goal. The role will work within the Claims Pathways Evolution project, evolving our client service pathway and operating models to provide each client with the appropriate level of support to optimise their outcomes.
The role is required to lead the scoping, design and delivery of initiatives within one of the claims pathways, providing subject matter expertise and working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to deliver outcomes and achieve desired benefits.
The Initiatives Lead will work with project resources and operational staff to drive delivery, and will provide early insights to potential business impacts and risks as well as opportunities to enhance TAC operational efficiencies, performance and client outcomes.
About the Team
This role sits within the Operational Development & Performance branch in the Claims Management Group in the Clients Division, however is embedded in the Claims Pathways Evolution Project team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operational Development & Performance you’ll; be empowered to be your best and supported by a leader who fosters development and growth to help you establish yourself and your programs of work independently.
What we’re looking for
Proven Project Management Expertise
Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in project management, population health, public health, or personal injury insurance. Your expertise includes a track record of managing and delivering initiatives from scope to benefit realisation in complex environments.
Experienced Stakeholder Manager and Change Leader
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including executives and governance groups. You will have experience in presenting to governance bodies, influencing decisions, and leading change.
Demonstrated experience in utilising operational and strategic thinking and implementing business improvement initiatives
Strong background in developing and delivering innovation and strategically aligned programs of work to achieve business outcomes and articulating recommendations and strategic advice to executive management
