About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Technical Lead to join our newly created Digital Delivery team, within the Enterprise Transformation Division.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the design, build and implementation of Microsoft enterprise solutions at the TAC. Acting as the technical application owner, you will ensure solutions are configured to best practice standards and meet the needs of the organisation.

You’ll collaborate with IT professionals across the TAC and WorkSafe, project teams and stakeholders across the organisation to identify opportunities for innovation and optimisation within the Microsoft ecosystem, enhancing business efficiency and user experience.

In this role you will have direct reports and the successful candidate will require leadership experience.

 

About the Team

The Enterprise Transformation division is dedicated to delivering the TAC’s strategic priorities, ensuring work is delivered within budget and ultimately optimises client outcomes and employee experience. The division oversees the portfolio, program, and project delivery for the TAC, as well as technology development and digital initiatives. As part of the growing Digital Delivery team, you will play a pivotal role in leading transformation IT changes within the TAC.  

 

What we’re looking for

 

Technical Experience

You will have 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft platforms, and leading technical implementation projects. You are an expert in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Purview, Azure, and other related enterprise solutions. Experience with Microsoft security and compliance configurations, including DLP, sensitivity labels, and retention policies is crucial.

 

Leadership & Collaboration

Your exceptional communication and negotiation skills will enable you to establish trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicate complex technical topics into understandable insights. You’re a proven leader, experienced in guiding technical teams through complex implementation projects.

  

Innovation & Optimisation

You have proven experience establishing and implementing a Microsoft roadmap and driving platform adoption along with a strong understanding of modern best practices in DevOps and CI/CD.
