About the role

The Digital Coordinator will provide essential support in delivery the TAC’s digital communication and marketing initiatives. You will support the Digital Advisors and Team Manager in managing content and engagement across websites, eDMs and social media, ensuring messaging is clear, accessible and aligned with key objectives. Your role will focus on supporting digital execution, monitoring performance and coordinating updates to enhance the TAC’s digital presence.

About the Team

You will join the Communications, Media & Digital branch within the Community division, a team committed to engaging, educating, and influencing the Victorian community, stakeholders, and TAC staff. Together, they work to ensure the TAC is trusted, fosters a safety-first road culture, and delivers the best outcomes for clients.

The team is structured with a Team Manager, Digital Advisor – Communications, Digital Advisor – Websites and Digital Advisor – Insights & Analytics, creating a close-knit and supportive environment. Embracing an open and transparent management style, the team benefits from strong collaboration and encourages continuous communication. Management recognises each team member's unique motivators and adapts to their individual work styles, ensuring personalised support and engagement.

What we’re looking for

Digital Communications / Marketing Professional

You will bring a relevant tertiary qualification and 2+ years of experience in digital communications and/or marketing. Your ability to write and tailor content for different audiences will be essential, supported by your understanding of digital publishing platforms and web content management systems.

Data-Aware and Standards-Conscious

You have a basic understanding of web and social media analytics and are keen to use data to help shape content and improve digital engagement. A sound understanding of accessibility standards and experience ensuring content aligns with Victorian Government digital requirements is also important in maintaining inclusive, high-quality digital communications.

Collaborative and Organised Team Player

You’re confident working with others and enjoy building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, such as creative or digital agencies. You’re organised, reliable, and able to manage your time well. You bring a can-do attitude and are eager to learn and grow within a supportive team.
