We are looking for a Software Test Engineer with Test Automation experience to join our team of high performance engineers that work to assure the quality of our Suncorp Group software throughout our software automation tools and the most popular in the market SAFe Agile Scale Framework.
Your key Responsibilities will include:
- Deliver quality automated/manual test scripts/procedures and cases to meet delivery milestones.
- Perform the test activities part of the software life cycle (plans, strategy, defects, artefacts, reports)
- Work with / support the delivery teams / trains to enable optimal quality outcomes
- Support the creation, maintenance and reuse of our test assets
- Collaborate with you Suncorp test community
- Bring innovation and industry trends on Software testing space to your work
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience with Functional testing within a structured testing environment and understanding of the multiple test types
- 3+ years Test Automation experience
- Experience in the effective utilisation of technologies in our stack; Jenkins, Selenium, Cucumber and Java
- Experience testing SOAP and REST APIs, using tools such as SOAPUI, Postman
- Experience with a development IDE such as Intellij and an understanding of existing test automation Java code
- Experience with Salesforce, Playwright, Type Script, Applitools would be valuable
- A team player mindset, willing to support and mentor other testers
- A desire for continuous learning and a strong work ethic
