In this role, you will drive value for our customers by ensuring efficient operational technology outcomes for Payroll and Core HR functions. This involves managing HR technology for our clients and the People, Culture & Advocacy (PC&A) community, overseeing all aspects of payroll operations and integrated processes.

As the leader of the team that supports our payroll system you will be responsible for ensuring seamless payroll processes, handling escalations, coordinating system updates, and ensuring regular patching and database upgrades.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee the team's goals and ensure alignment with key accountabilities for Core HR and Payroll on our HR platform
  • Provide technical advice to internal teams, including PC&A, Technology & Transformation, Partners, and Service Providers
  • Facilitate the prioritization of changes in agreement with business users
  • Ensure service availability and efficient resource management by predicting future performance and capacity requirements
  • Proactively identify high-risk scenarios and collaborate with data owners to implement appropriate controls and mitigants
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to create valuable partnerships that lead to improved system solutions

 

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor degree in IT, engineering or business (Desired)
  • Experience in leading People Technology teams and driving operational efficiency and employee experience
  • Strong operational knowledge of HR systems, data governance, and reporting
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and project management
  • Ability to challenge, influence, guide decision making process around the HR systems
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables and timelines in a fast-moving team environment
  • Proficient in coaching and supporting team development, to lift capability and the team’s overall technical expertise
