  • Maintain and strengthen distributor relationships (at all levels) through regular contact aligned to tiering model

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Account Manager to play a pivotal role in achieving new business and retention targets for our channel. In this key position, you will focus on two primary objectives: acquiring new business and nurturing the continuous growth of our existing motor dealers and finance brokers. Ensure all clients are compliant with applicable legislative and regulatory requirements. To deliver effective account management strategies and maintain relationships via a combination of face to face, telephone, and digital mediums.

What you’ll do (not limited to):

  • Achieve agreed targets for products distributed by the Motor channel
  • Identify new business opportunities and assist with broader retention strategies
  • Proactively manage expenses and look for ways to reduce business costs
  • Ensure our distributors meet the customer’s needs appropriately and in line with community expectations
  • Establish and maintain robust commercial relationships with existing and new clients.

What you will bring:

  • Previous experience in Intermediated Introduced Business or Motor Dealer Industry - Preferred
  • Demonstrated Business Development experience strongly – Strongly Preferred
  • Previous experience in Insurance or Finance Industries – Preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of legislation including Code of Practice, Insurance Contract Act, Corporations Act, Privacy Act and any other legislation that applies to the Motor Dealer channel
  • Ability to work with complex data and break down problems and situations into simple lists of components to make or implement solutions as appropriate.
