About the Role:
The Portfolio Leasing & Analytics Advisor supports the Portfolio Strategy & Leasing Manager by providing the necessary information for business decisions related to our commercial and industrial real estate portfolio. The role is part of Suncorp’s Real Estate team who, supported by our external real estate partner, provides a full range of corporate real estate services across our commercial and industrial portfolio.
You will understand business needs related to real estate, liaising with business lines to meet their leasing requirements, and providing and utilising accurate data and reports for decision-making. This also includes managing the leasing budget and forecasts, collaborating with other real estate teams, contributing to strategy and policy development, and managing leasing KPI performance and reporting.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has around 3+ years’ experience in corporate real estate, together with some data analysis experience, looking to expand their knowledge and grow their career within a leading organisation. There are also plenty of development opportunities within a highly collaborative and supportive environment.
What you’ll do:
- Advise on critical lease events, ensuring stakeholders have options, and oversee the leasing process and negotiations
- Coordinate market research and analysis, managing the KPI performance of our service provider, and producing performance reports for the leasehold portfolio.
- Conduct business analysis to support decision-making, create and produce and maintain interactive dashboards and reports, and support sustainability initiatives with data analysis.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their real estate strategies, managing client relationships and business escalations
- Continuously improve operational frameworks and processes are also key responsibilities.
About You:
- 5+ years of experience in Corporate Real Estate, Stakeholder Management, Property Management, Sustainability, Leasing, and Operations.
- Knowledge of Corporate Real Estate functions and operations, experience in leasing processes and negotiations
- Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools like Excel and Power BI to present complex data, with experience creating and maintaining interactive dashboards, is essential
- Financial analysis and modelling skills are a must.
- Good consulting, negotiation, and influencing skills, along with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and autonomous decision-making capabilities
