About the role

We are looking for a hands-on Organisational Change Analyst to join an award-winning Enterprise Delivery Change Management team that supports a variety of medium to large scale programs across the Suncorp Group. As an Organisational Change Analyst, you will support the creation and execution of change management plans to support our stakeholders through ongoing change.   

This role will be required to support the People Home Tribe, an Enterprise-wide strategic initiative that will make a genuine positive impression on the daily lives of our employees and leaders by building a modern HR function for our Australian and New Zealand businesses. 

Working under the Momentum (scaled agile) delivery model, this role will join an already established Change Management team in the People Home Tribe and support organisational change management activities required for the new Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) platform, new Payroll and Time & Labour platforms, including integrations downstream to support Suncorp internal platforms. 

These changes will require technical and behavioural change as well as the implementation of new capabilities, systems, and procedures. You will have experience supporting large-scale technology change and are proficient at delivering in either a continuous delivery model (Agile) or traditional project delivery models.  

In addition to strong communication and change management skills, you will have excellent attention to detail and change impact assessment experience to ensure key changes are identified for our impacted teams. You will use innovation and resilience to deliver effective change management outcomes when there is uncertainty or ambiguity and be able to manage your own workload when there are competing priorities. 

 

 

What you’ll do:  

Assessing Change Impacts 

  • Engage with stakeholders to complete both high level and detailed change impact assessments. 

  • Facilitate and support change impact assessment workshops with stakeholders and project members. 

Change Strategy & Execution 

  • Assist the Change Manager/s as needed in the implementation of change management plans, communication plans, sponsor roadmaps, coaching plans, training plans, and resistance management plans. 

  • Support the implementation of these plans to frontline employees, leaders and executive management. 

  • Identify and escalate any risks and issues associated with the implementation of changes.  

  • Provide additional support to the broader Platform Change team during peak periods. 

Change Governance & Set Up 

  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of planning and governance tools like JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint for all Change Management related tasks. 

  • Support the Change Manager/s in establishing and managing communication channels such as Tribe/Platform mailbox, SharePoint, Teams and Yammer. 

  • Support the Change Manager/s with flight planning and monitoring the progress of Change deliverables. 

Change Communications 

  • Where required support the Change Manager/s with the development and delivery of communications and engagement activities. 

Learning and Knowledge Management 

  • Assist with coordination of training logistics including room reservations, acceptances, attendance records and measuring training completion, effectiveness, and readiness. 

  • Where required, support the development, testing, and maintenance of learning material, including FAQs, Quick Reference Guides (QRGs), animations, and recordings. 

 

What you’ll bring: 

  • Minimum 2-years project and people engagement related change experience – Mandatory   

  • Familiar with change management methodologies such as Prosci – Desired 

  • Exposure to working with Agile project management methodologies and tools (such as JIRA and Confluence) – Desired 

  • Experience in multi stream Tribe/Platform/Program/CoE’s resulting in significant transformational and cultural change – Desired 

  • A demonstrated ability to deliver Change, Communications and Learning activities for large-scale transformation or technology projects is highly desirable.  

  • Confident in your ability to work autonomously with a strong understanding of what Change activities are required through each stage of a project. 

  • Experience working closely with technical SMEs with the ability to translate technical concepts into easy-to-understand business language.  

  • Able to utilise the Change Management Framework and templates and apply them as required
