- Manage a portfolio of Injury Liability Claims
- Provide technical expertise to support Claims Officers

You will manage a diverse and complex portfolio of Injury Liability claims in accordance with policies and procedures, ensuring the most cost effective and timely outcomes are achieved while providing best in class claims service to our targeted market segments. As a senior member of the team, you’ll play an integral role in providing technical claims advice and mentoring claims officers to lift technical capability and deliver excellent commercial outcomes.
What you’ll do:
- Proactively manage a diverse portfolio of complex Injury Liability claims end to end
- Provide specialist technical advice to claims staff on policy coverage, liability, quantum, strategy and reserving
- Appoint and manage external service providers including External Legal Panel
- Maintain claim reserves in a timely manner in accordance with reserving guidelines and practices
- Provide underwriters and claims manager with feedback from issues or risk deficiencies identified during claims management and develop own technical industry knowledge
- Contribute to the development of the teams’ market profile through superior claims service to our targeted market segment
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience within public liability risks (injury claims) (Minimum 5 years' experience mandatory)
- Prior experience mentoring claims staff in technical claims roles
- Legal background preferred, not essential
