About the role:
This is a unique 12 month fixed term opportunity for an experienced Tribe Learning Manager to build the learning strategy incorporating the latest modern adult learning techniques. This role will be required to support the People Home Tribe, an Enterprise-wide strategic initiative that will make a genuine positive impression on the daily lives of our employees and leaders by building a modern HR function for our Australian and New Zealand businesses.
Working under the Momentum (scaled agile) delivery model, this role will join an already established Change Management team in the People Home Tribe and support organisational change management activities required for the new Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) platform, new Payroll and Time & Labour platforms, including integrations downstream to support Suncorp internal platforms.
You will be accountable for the successful delivery of all learning outcomes for this major project by designing, implementing and overseeing this strategy to ensure our employees effectively adapt to the changes. This includes a new operating model, job role and capability changes, systems replacement and integration, process changes and culture change.
You will have strong expertise in using advanced training tools and methodologies in a corporate setting and successful track record of working on projects of this size and complexity to embed significant change. You will be working with a variety of stakeholders including project managing a team of learning designers, external vendors and consultants to drive the development of innovative learning experiences that align with the organisation’s goals and objectives.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute an innovative Learning Strategy that incorporates modern learning techniques and digital adoption tools to enhance employee knowledge uplift.
- Collaborate with senior leadership in the business as well as Group Learning, Business Job Ready learning, and People & Culture teams to align learning strategies with the organisation's goals and priorities.
- Identify the specific learning needs and skill gaps for impacted stakeholders and conduct assessments to determine the current competencies and required skills for successful role transition.
- Project management of end-to-end learning delivery. This includes overseeing the creation and curation of an engaging and effective learning curriculum including digital adoption tools, e-learning modules, videos, simulations, instructor led sessions, courses, and workshops and on the job training
- Ongoing stakeholder engagement to provide senior leaders, updates on the learning approach, progress of the learning journey and advising of any adjustments made to the learning approach. Engage with employees to gather feedback and address concerns.
- Work with a team of learning designers (internal, external vendors and consultants) including guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
About you:
- 10+ years designing and implementing successful learning strategies using modern digital adoption tools; Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools, and other digital learning platforms.
- 5+ years working within technology driven transformations, running large complex programs
- 2+ years working within Agile environments
- Expertise in using advanced learning tools and methodologies in a corporate setting.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale software implementations, particularly with Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM), Automatic Data Processing (ADP) Payroll and Time & Labour Management (TLM).
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of instructional designers.
- Excellent communication (written & verbal), collaboration, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, change-driven environment.
