About the role
The Leader Claims Operations oversees an operations team to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and quality for customers. This role includes managing personal injury products where applicable. Providing strong leadership, the Leader Claims Operations ensures both in-house and partnered teams meet work targets while prioritising and allocating activities to exceed customer expectations and maintain agreed service levels.
What you'll do
- Actively motivate, develop, coach and engage team members to drive results and create a high performing team
- Manage team performance to achieve departmental strategy, targets, goals and budget
- Actively collaborate across the Division and Function to support the achievement of objectives
- Analysis of data and reports to identify trends to continuously drive an improvement in business results.
- Alignment of team objectives to ensure effective delivery of our customer proposition
What you'll bring
- 3–5 years' experience leading first-line teams, driving performance and engagement
- Operational improvement experience with both process and systems
- Proven ability to enhance team and individual performance
- Experience managing partnered teams to optimise performance, risk, and compliance
- Previous experience coaching and mentoring to develop technical expertise
