Solution Architect - Network and Security

Brisbane (preferred), Sydney OR Melbourne

About the role:

As Solution Architect, you will work across the Networks and Security Platform teams focusing on delivering solutions across both Cloud and on-premise environments and represent the team in broader architectural forums around how we can deliver solutions. 

The successful candidate will be exposed to market leading security technologies working closely with the Security and Network Engineers to drive our technology change initiatives. 

What you’ll do: 

- Work closely with the technical engineers supporting the following technology solutions deployed across cloud and on-premise environments: 

• Cisco Data Centre Network, Wireless and VPN and Management Technology products 

• Palo Alto Networks Firewall Environment and Tufin Automation products 

• F5 BigIP Appliances for Traffic Load Balancing, WAF and DNS Services 

• Endpoint security products including Crowdstrike, Trend Deep Security, Airlock 

• Cloud Based WAF/CDN/DDOS Services through Imperva 

• Netskope Proxy Solutions

- Define current state, transition states and target state solution architectures for projects and current business problems consistent with domain and group architecture

- Provide design leadership and the preparation of design options where there are multiple solutions available, review system designs and champion designs where required 

- Provide overall technical leadership to project teams in terms of the end-to-end solution, ensuring all facets of the designs and technologies are integrated to deliver an architecturally compliant implementation 

What you’ll bring: 

• Minimum 3+ years’ hands on IT Architecture or Design experience 

• Minimum 5 years’ IT experience (with Network experience) 

• Architectural certification (eg TOGAF) preferred 

• Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies preferred 

Ideally you will also have experience with some of the following: 

• Cisco Data Centre Network, Wireless and VPN and Management Technology products
