We have had a permanent opportunity become available in our Consumer Customer Care & Operations team based in Auckland.
Your new role
You are the first point of service contact (primarily via phone and email interactions) for our customers (including staff) and partners (bankers, advisers, or brokers).
You will contribute to the sustainable growth and retention of our consumer insurance business, by ensuring customer needs are met across the care, pay, renew, and leave customer journey stages, along with supporting other journey stages (quote, buy, renew change) as required.
Hours of work:
75 hours per fortnight (excluding unpaid meal breaks).
Your normal times and days of work are between 8.45am - 5.15pm Saturday and Sunday, 7.45am – 8pm Monday to Friday, with the hours set by fortnightly roster.
You'll receive all the support that you need to succeed in the role. The first 3- 6 months of your career with us will be based in our Auckland office during your training period. When you're ready, you will transition to flexible working, which includes working from home up to 50% of the time.
You will be responsible for:
- Customer Service
- Support Vulnerable Customers
- Customer Growth and Retention
- Building positive relationships with stakeholders and customers/partners
- Follow Best Practice call guides and decision-making tools in every interaction
To shine in this role, you will have:
- NCEA Level 3, including Mathematics and English studies (mandatory)
- Customer service experience (mandatory)
- Insurance industry experience
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient computer skills e.g., Excel, word.
- High attention to detail
- Organised and efficient
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Resilient
