Claims Advisor – Industrial Deafness

Are you passionate about providing exceptional service and support to injured workers and stakeholders? We’re looking for a motivated Claims Advisor to join our Industrial Deafness team in Workers Compensation.
About the Role:
As a Claims Advisor, you will manage a portfolio of Industrial Deafness workers compensation claims, ensuring the efficient handling and resolution of claims while providing excellent customer service. This role offers the opportunity to work with internal and external stakeholders, develop strong relationships with providers, and work collaboratively with third-party providers, legal panel providers, and corporate clients to support the claims process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of Industrial Deafness workers compensation claims.
- Provide timely updates and resolution of claims in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, brokers, and third-party providers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant workers compensation legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records, diarise claims for follow-up, and proactively manage claims.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including iCare & SIRA, to ensure effective claims management.
- Continually identify opportunities for process improvement and work within a continuous improvement framework.
What You’ll Bring:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to effectively manage your claims portfolio.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience using databases.
- A solid understanding of Workers Compensation Legislation and industry processes.
- Experience in working with third-party providers, legal panel providers, and corporate clients.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to direct and work well with internal and external teams.
