About the role
The purpose of the Supply Chain Category Lead role is to build and maintain high performing relationships with the MCC (Motor Claims Customers) Supply Chain to deliver exceptional outcomes for our people, customers and our business. The role is outcome based and is accountable for driving regulatory compliance and supply chain results.
What you'll do
- Drive implementation, compliance and improvement of the MCC Supply Management Framework and Controls
- Maintain supplier compliance against industry standards and legislative requirements
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver business outcomes
- Contract compliance including scorecard reporting, formal meetings, benchmarking
- Manage financial responsibility, cost control, and key risks for the supply operations
- Drive supply chain improvements to enhance claims, supplier performance, and service delivery
- Accountable for supplier related communications
- Understand and drive risk processes associated with supplier engagements
- Use data insights through our supply chain to work with stakeholders to improve our supply chain outcomes
What you'll bring
- 5+ years’ experience in insurance or financial services (preferably in claims)
- 2+ years’ experience in supply chain or supplier management
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices
- Experience in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and deriving insights from data
- Solid knowledge of insurance industry principles, regulations, products, and procedures
