About the role:
This is a unique opportunity to work with one of Australia’s leading Insurers!
This role will support the Infrastructure team to enhance the end user experience, with a preference for candidates who have a background in areas like end user compute, server upgrades, and Windows 11. You’ll be involved in a range of initiatives that may include device upgrades, application transitions, and cloud remediation activities
You will have the opportunity to join our large Analysis Chapter that supports a variety of medium to large scale programs across the Suncorp Group. The Chapter consists of around 250 like-minded analysts, where ideas and best practice are shared via masterclasses and knowledge sharing. You will support projects being delivered in a continuous delivery model (Agile) as well as initiatives using traditional project delivery models.

What you’ll do:
- Analyse business area use of systems and applications and determining impact of changes to systems and how this affects each business area
- Determining requirements for applications and how this may have some technical impact (working with tech team)
- Build strong relationships through engagement with customers, colleagues, and other key stakeholders
- Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately, completely, and coherently.
- Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.
- Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks were applicable.
- Work close with squad / project members, including but not limited to Delivery lead, Scrum Master, Developers, Tech Leads, and Business stakeholders to identify, capture, plan and deliver the scope of work.
What you’ll bring:
- ESSENTIAL: Minimum 3 years’ business analysis experience in a project/delivery orientated role; from a large organisation
- Minimum 3 years’ Agile, Lean and waterfall experience including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitation
- Experience or high-level understanding of application packaging for Windows devices would be beneficial
- Exposure to infrastructure-related projects such as Windows 11 upgrades, Surface device rollout, and server transitions and experience supporting initiatives involving application platform changes (e.g. AppV transition)
- Familiarity with cloud migration activities and understanding of business impact across systems
- Must be able to translate and understand business and technical requirements and provide appropriate alternatives and solutions to meet those requirements.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills including experience in dealing with various levels of stakeholders internally and externally.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to make a difference
- Must be able to manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines, while also working autonomously.
