The Role
The Tribe Lead role is critical to delivering strategic, customer-focused change across Suncorp New Zealand’s portfolio.
As the owner of governance, compliance, and return on investment, the Tribe Lead ensures initiatives align with business goals and regulatory requirements while enabling a continuous flow of value.
They are accountable for defining and prioritising strategic initiatives, managing technical and people implications, and securing cross-functional buy-in to deliver impactful solutions.
This role is essential to achieving customer outcomes, driving strategic execution, and maintaining delivery momentum within the tribe.
This is a 12-month contract opportunity.
What you’ll do
- Accountable for Business Outcomes & Metrics – Ensure solutions meet the economic business goals established by the portfolio
- Responsible for defining Initiatives and prioritising Epics (including architecture and allocations for technical debt) – Collaborate with Product Owners and ART Leadership to build the required people, process and technology capabilities required
- Accountable for getting value delivered - Collaborate to ensure knowledge and understanding of the technical enablement and people implications of the solution
- Accountable for generating Buy-In – Ensure the change is resourced and the PI is supported and enhanced to create a continuous flow of value
What you’ll bring
- Mastery of leadership and change management skills, consultation, influencing and negotiation capability
- Experience with Agile change management practises
- Extensive senior experience in the NZ financial services market environment ideally within a Commercial/ Business Insurance context
