We’re looking for a Product Owner to lead the design and delivery of customer-first digital and operational solutions across our Home Claims portfolio. Based in our Brisbane office and working within the Consumer Insurance division, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and wants to make a direct impact on customer outcomes.
This is a contract role through to 30 June 2026 and your chance to lead a dedicated, cross-functional squad of delivery experts, drive strategic outcomes, and shape the Home Claims experience for thousands of Australians.
What you’ll do
- End-to-end delivery of initiatives aligned to Suncorp’s Consumer Insurance strategic objectives
- Lead a cross-functional agile squad, fostering alignment, collaboration, and outcome delivery
- Define clear business requirements and prioritise backlog initiatives that improve experience, compliance and commercial value
- Facilitate effective testing, UAT/PVT, release activities and change management to support solution deployment
- Act as the voice of the business in collaboration with tech, risk, regulatory and project teams
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across business units, technology, and external vendors
- Monitor delivery progress, showcase key features, and ensure transparency across initiatives
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years’ experience in Insurance and/or Financial Services
- Proven experience delivering projects in agile environments, with at least 1 year in a Product Owner or similar delivery role
- Experience working with senior stakeholders across business and tech
- Strong business acumen, data literacy and a deep understanding of customer-led design
- A collaborative mindset, with strong influencing and communication skills
- Bonus points for Product Owner certification or experience with AI-enabled claims or customer solutions
