Suncorp Graduate Program 2026 – Risk 

At Suncorp, our Risk & Advocacy team protects what matters most – our customers, communities, and business. As a Risk Graduate, you’ll gain hands-on experience in strengthening our risk practices and driving transformation to enhance outcomes for our customers.  

  • Applications Close: Tuesday 26 August 2025

  • Employment Type: Permanent full-time 
  • Minimum Starting Salary: $79,500 including super 
  • Location: Brisbane 

What you’ll do 

Our two-year program is designed to give you broad, meaningful exposure across Suncorp’s expanding Risk & Advocacy function. You’ll complete at least four rotations, customised to your strengths and interests, across teams such as: 

  • Risk Data & Analytics: Enabling better data-backed decisions in risk by supporting dashboard development and delivery analytics work to support execution of the risk oversight plan.  
  • Compliance:Joining teams across Privacy, Financial Crime, and our Compliance Partners to support Leaders in managing risk through regulatory adherence.  
  • Enterprise & Strategic Risk: Developing risk reporting to support executive leadership and board committees, and overseeing Suncorp’s risk management frameworks, standards, risk appetite and strategy.   
  • Customer Advocate: Work on initiatives that help shape how we support vulnerable customers, manage complaints, and engage with regulators.  

You’ll collaborate with passionate professionals, learn how risk and advocacy support our business strategy, and build a strong foundation for a career as a trusted advisor. 

Who can apply? 

  • You must have full working rights in Australia 
  • Studying or have studied at an Australian or New Zealand university
  • Completed a minimum of bachelor's degree within the last two years (2023, 2024 or 2025), or will complete prior to the program commencing
  • Minimum ‘pass’ grade  

Who we’re looking for 

We’re not after “risk experts” – we want curious, motivated graduates ready to make an impact! 

Preferred degrees: 

  • Business, Finance, Commerce, Law, Psychology or a similar field
