Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable insights? Known internally as a Data Systems Analyst, you’ll contribute to the design and delivery of data solutions within our Corporate Platforms team that supports Suncorp’s strategic direction. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Technology & Operations to ensure our data systems are fit-for-purpose, integrated, and aligned with business needs.

What You’ll Do
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications and data models
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Solution Architects, and Testers to ensure solutions meet business goals
- Support the design and delivery of data pipelines, integrations, and system enhancements
- Create process maps, data flow diagrams, and system documentation to support delivery
- Perform gap analysis and impact assessments on system and data changes
- Contribute to testing activities by defining acceptance criteria and supporting defect triage
- Liaise between business teams and technical delivery teams to ensure shared understanding
- Maintain alignment with Agile delivery practices, including backlog refinement and sprint planning
- Monitor solution implementation to ensure requirements are met and quality standards upheld
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience translating complex business needs into technical solutions
- Strong understanding of data systems, data structures, and integration patterns
- Skilled in using analysis tools and techniques such as process mapping, data modelling, and SQL queries
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments
- A collaborative mindset, able to work across multidisciplinary teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to change
- Attention to detail in documentation and solution design
- Proactive approach to identifying risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities
