Management Assistant
We’re looking for a proactive, organised, and adaptable Management Assistant to provide high-level support to 2–3 Motor Claims Business Leaders. This role is about ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, managing competing priorities, and driving efficiencies across the division.
This role is open to both Melbourne & Brisbane based candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Support
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate travel, and prepare meeting agendas and minutes.
- Organise functions, workshops, conferences, and maintain confidential filing systems.
- Financial Support
- Reconcile corporate credit cards, process purchase orders, and ensure costs are allocated correctly.
- Monitor expenses and invoices in line with company policies.
- Relationship Management
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, external partners, and the EA community to support leaders.
- Build and maintain relationships with key people to facilitate smooth operations.
- Compliance & Risk
- Ensure timely reporting and management of Health, Safety & Wellbeing issues.
- Complete compliance processes including leave monitoring, CBTs, and other internal systems.
- People & Team Contribution
- Support team performance, personal development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Represent Suncorp professionally while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
What you’ll bring
- Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting senior leaders in a busy corporate environment.
- Strong skills across MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle competing demands and shifting priorities.
- High attention to detail, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build trusted relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
- Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-focused, with a “can do” attitude.
- Experience in business process management and knowledge of key Suncorp stakeholders (desirable).
