Join our Pricing & Analytics team to deliver data science solutions that support strategic decision-making across general insurance. You’ll work with large datasets, build scalable tools, and contribute to a high-performing, inclusive team.
What You’ll Do
- Further improve our in-house ML Modelling Engine GUID with R/Rshiny.
- Continue to develop and deploy models and modelling data for model monitoring suites.
- Offer troubleshooting support for the Modelling Engine GUID tool as required and develop comprehensive knowledge of its operation.
- Participate in a project to convert all modelling and pricing codes from SAS to Databricks, while continuously enhancing process efficiency and reducing processing time.
- Develop autonomous data processing and modeling.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and provide guidance to the broader pricing team on utilizing our Modelling Engine GUID.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver analytics solutions aligned with business goals.
- Use statistical, actuarial modelling, and machine learning methods to address business problems.
- Provide guidance to team members regarding coding standards, DevOps procedures, and data governance practices.
What You’ll Bring
- Proficiency in R (especially RShiny) with experience in Python, SQL, and Spark highly regarded
- Experience with Databricks, cloud platforms, and version control tools like Git/Bitbucket.
- Understanding of statistical/actuarial modelling, machine learning, and data engineering principles.
- Demonstrate experience in DataBricks with application for DevOps, Data Engineering, MLflow, MLE, MLOps and coding.
