About the Role
Are you passionate about digital innovation and customer experience? We’re seeking a Digital Sales Advanced Capabilities Lead to join our Digital Customer business unit. This role is pivotal in enabling and optimising digital quote & buy experiences across Motor, Home, and C&PI products.
You’ll lead the integration and support of advanced digital tools such as MotorWeb, geospatial data feeds, telematics, address search, content calculators, and conversational AI plug-ins. Your work will directly impact the performance of our digital sales funnels and enhance customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage vendor relationships for advanced digital sales enablers.
- Scope, analyse, and support the delivery of digital tools and plug-ins.
- Lead testing and implementation activities (Functional, Regression, UAT, PVT).
- Provide operational support for digital assets and conversational AI experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and drive delivery.
- Monitor performance and identify opportunities for digital sales growth.
- Champion Agile practices and governance frameworks.
- Partner with internal teams to integrate conversational technologies across channels.
Key Relationships
- Digital Motor, Home, and C&PI product managers and teams.
- Consumer and Commercial Insurance functions.
- Technology & Operations, Procurement, Finance, Risk & Compliance teams.
About You
You’re a strategic thinker with a passion for digital transformation and customer experience. You thrive in collaborative environments and bring a solution-oriented mindset.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Business, eCommerce, Information Systems, Marketing (desired) or equivalent experience.
- Experience in digital and financial services (mandatory).
- 5+ years in digital/eCommerce, ideally within insurance.
- Proven success in delivering complex digital solutions.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Experience or interest in conversational AI (IBM Watson or equivalent – desired).
Technical Competencies:
- Structured thinking and problem-solving.
- Awareness of chatbot and generative AI trends.
- Advanced Agile maturity and proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and project tools.
- Passion for innovation and customer advocacy.
