About the role

As Chapter Lead – Developer Experience, you’ll guide a team of DevOps and platform engineers to deliver scalable, secure, and modern solutions. You’ll shape strategy, foster talent, and drive continuous improvement across our engineering ecosystem.

What you'll do

  • Lead and grow a chapter of DevOps and platform engineers, building future-ready capabilities.
  • Define and execute the vision for developer experience platforms aligned to enterprise strategy.
  • Drive modernisation of legacy systems through cloud-native tools, CI/CD, and containerization.
  • Enhance developer workflows and productivity through automation and self-service platforms.
  • Collaborate across architecture, cybersecurity, and cloud programs to align strategies.
  • Mentor chapter members, foster a culture of learning, and support career development.

What you'll bring 

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in DevOps, system, or software engineering.
  • Proven ability to coach and develop technical professionals in agile environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS), DevOps practices, and platform engineering.
  • Experience with SaaS tools like GitHub, Atlassian, Datadog, and CircleCI.
  • Ability to apply data-driven decision-making using DORA metrics and developer feedback.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and inclusive team culture.
