The Specialty Claims team currently has an opportunity available for a phone-based role, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic team member who is passionate about delivering high-quality customer service over the phone. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers with active claims, providing guidance and support to help them understand the process and move their claims forward. What You’ll Do
- Be the first point of contact for customers who have experienced loss or damage to their caravan, motorhome, or boat 
 
- Communicate with customers, repairers, brokers, external assessing companies and tow providers 
 
- Manage a high volume of inbound calls with care and efficiency 
 
- Keep customers informed with timely and clear updates on their claim 
 
- Apply best practice in line with our Best Claims Practice standards 
 
- Listen actively and empathetically to understand each customer’s situation 
 
- Progress claims effectively and in line with service level agreements 
 
- Use sound judgment and problem-solving skills to reach fair outcomes 
 
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim records 
 
- Resolve customer and stakeholder complaints professionally 
 
- Ensure each interaction moves the claim meaningfully toward completion 
 
- Minimise rework and repeat customer contact 
 
- Adhere to the General Insurance Code of Practice and internal guidelines 
 
 
What You’ll Bring
- Strong customer service experience 
 
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills 
 
- Clear and effective communication (both written and verbal)

- Confident decision-making and critical thinking abilities 
 
 
Hours & Training
You’ll work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, and will be rostered to start your shift anytime between 8:00am – 9 :00am
To set you up for success, you’ll undergo 2-3 weeks of full-time, onsite & virtual training, Monday to Friday, at your relevant office.
 
Working from Home
After training, you’ll have the option to work from home as part of our hybrid work model, subject to leader discretion. To be eligible for this, you must have:
- A reliable internet connection
 
- Dual monitors, a mouse, and a webcam
 
- An ergonomic workstation with a desk and chair in a quiet space
