About the Role
As a Performance Lead, you will be responsible for the overall performance of Home Claims suppliers within your region. You’ll manage our supply chain through effective monitoring, driving accountability, and leading strategic partnerships to deliver quality outcomes for our customers. This role is critical in delivering on Suncorp’s purpose by ensuring alignment between our supply chain and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and delivery of Home Claims supply chain strategy to achieve customer, cost, and quality benefits.
- Lead consistent and effective delivery of vendor performance frameworks, audits, and capability building.
- Drive adherence to contracts, governance, and control frameworks, including risk assessments and operational guidelines.
- Facilitate supplier audits, review outcomes, and provide strategic advice to claims management.
- Engage stakeholders to identify improvements and implement emerging market trends in performance management.
- Develop external supplier capability through training on governance, code of practice, vulnerable customers, and contractual expectations.
- Support event response plans and ensure panel supply capacity during major events.
- Advocate and manage change initiatives and technology rollouts across the supply chain.
- Provide insights and recommendations to streamline claims processes and improve supplier performance.
- Collaborate with Group Procurement on contract negotiations and supplier profile management.
About You
- Mandatory: Insurance industry experience.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Claims, Assessing, or Performance Management.
- Strong negotiation skills and understanding of supply chain principles.
- Qualifications in Project Management, Trade, Procurement, Risk, or Data Analytics (desired).
- Exposure to trade operations or trade-related background highly desirable.
