As a Senior Financial Reporting & Delivery Accountant, you’ll contribute to end-to-end statutory and regulatory reporting for Suncorp Group and its subsidiaries. This role offers the opportunity to influence governance processes, partner with senior stakeholders, and deliver high-quality outcomes that shape business decisions.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and deliver financial and regulatory reports for executives, Board Audit Committee, and regulators, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Partner with internal teams and external auditors to manage audit processes and resolve issues promptly
  • Coordinate governance activities including management certifications and representation letters across multiple entities
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and risk reduction strategies to enhance efficiency
  • Maintain robust documentation and internal controls aligned with Finance Services Advice Protocols

What You’ll Bring

  • CA or CPA qualification and a degree in Accounting, Commerce, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial reporting within financial services or Big 4 audit
  • Strong technical knowledge of statutory and regulatory reporting requirements, including APRA and ASIC standards
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial systems, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate complex information clearly
  • Proven capability to manage deadlines and adapt in a dynamic environment
