About the Role
As Digital Sales Manager – Motor, you will act as the business owner and product manager for the Motor digital sales funnel across Consumer Insurance brands. Your mission is to deliver a seamless, compliant, and customer-centric digital quote and buy experience across mobile, web, and conversational AI channels.
You’ll be accountable for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of the Motor digital sales experience, ensuring it is easy, effective, and delightful for customers. This includes enabling new quote generation, retrieval of existing quotes, completion of purchases, and successful cover inception.
Key Accountabilities
- Act as Digital Practice Business Owner for Motor Insurance sales experience across Consumer Insurance.
- Own Motor Sales digital funnel applications, ensuring asset health, stability, and production support.
- Drive development, operational maintenance, and growth of digital Motor sales across all channels.
- Support Home & Motor product teams in achieving business objectives and optimising pricing.
- Collaborate with technical platform owners for consistency, security, and quality of customer outcomes.
- Lead the Digital Motor Sales roadmap, aligning initiatives with business and customer objectives.
- Manage risk as Digital Motor Sales Risk Owner, resolving issues proactively.
- Contribute to Consumer Insurance Operations by advising on optimal digital experience design and innovation.
- Partner with Customer Service teams to ensure seamless assisted experiences when required.
- Support DI program delivery for alignment with new underwriting systems while maintaining performance edge.
- Continuously improve funnel performance to maximise quote completion and strike rates.
About You
- Tertiary qualification in business or science (desired).
- Minimum 7 years in a professional setting.
- At least 3 years in financial services with strong regulatory knowledge.
- Preferred 1–2 years managing digital payment services or platforms in FSI.
