Customer Service Representative – Terri Scheer Insurance

We're looking for enthusiastic Customer Service Representatives to join the Terri Scheer Insurance team in Adelaide as a Terri Scheer Specialist. This role is ideal for people who enjoy helping customers, solving problems, and delivering great service over the phone. No insurance experience is required — full training and ongoing support are provided from day one.

 Position Overview

  • Location: 1 King William Street, Adelaide
  • Role Type: Permanent Full-Time
  • Start Date: Wednesday, 11 March 2026
  • Salary: $60,500 + 12% Super + Performance-Based Incentives

About the Role

You’ll be the first point of contact for new and existing customers, providing friendly, knowledgeable support via inbound calls. Your focus will be on service, problem-solving, and building confidence with customers, with opportunities to learn insurance fundamentals over time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling inbound customer calls in a professional and supportive manner
  • Understanding customer needs and explaining insurance options clearly
  • Assisting with policy enquiries, updates, renewals and cancellations
  • Providing accurate information and resolving customer issues
  • Delivering a positive, end-to-end customer experience
  • Working towards achievable service, quality, and retention targets
  • Collaborating with a supportive, team-focused environment
  • Comprehensive training is provided, including systems, products, customer conversations, and insurance fundamentals — we’ll set you up for success.

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need insurance experience — we’re hiring for attitude and customer focus.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • A genuine passion for helping customers
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Confidence speaking with people over the phone
  • Resilience and the ability to stay calm in busy periods
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Previous customer service, call centre, retail, or hospitality experience (highly regarded but not essential)
