As a Senior Claims Advisor, you will manage a portfolio of complex Common Law CTP claims and apply your technical expertise to deliver timely, fair and commercially sound outcomes. Working within a dynamic and supportive team, you will contribute to continuous improvement, collaborate across specialist functions and provide guidance to colleagues as needed.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage a portfolio of complex Common Law CTP claims by applying legislation, regulatory guidelines and technical expertise to achieve fair and cost‑effective outcomes
- Engage proactively with stakeholders and progress activities promptly to ensure efficient claim resolution and a positive customer experience
- Prepare and review strategic action plans, ensuring all agreed actions are completed accurately and within required timeframes
- Assess risk, maintain accurate reserves and apply commercial judgement to determine the most effective strategies to progress claims
- Manage disputes, including preparing high‑quality submissions and participating in conferences, mediations and hearings when required
- Share knowledge with peers, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support a collaborative, high‑performance work environment.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience managing Common Law CTP claims and applying legislation, guidelines and case law to guide decisions and strategies
- Ability to analyse complex information, identify key issues and develop effective action plans that balance customer, regulatory and business needs
- Strong communication skills, using clear and confident written and verbal approaches to explain complex matters to customers and stakeholders
- Skilled in negotiation and dispute resolution, identifying mutually beneficial solutions while maintaining commercial and customer considerations
- Effective time management, balancing regulatory obligations and multiple competing priorities with organisational support and clear structures
- A collaborative mindset, contributing to team learning, coaching peers when appropriate and supporting continuous improvement.
