We’re looking for a Customer Care Consultant to join our team and deliver outstanding service to our customers and partners. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems and building relationships, while contributing to the growth and retention of our consumer insurance business.
What you’ll do
- Act as the first point of contact for customers and partners, primarily via phone and email
- Understand, anticipate and fulfil customer needs using each interaction as an opportunity to add value
- Resolve customer enquiries, issues and conflicts at first contact where possible, escalating appropriately to achieve positive outcomes
- Accurately record customer interactions to optimise customer experience and minimise rework and errors
- Support vulnerable customers with care, empathy and appropriate solutions
- Build strong relationships with customers, partners and internal stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
- Follow best practice call guides, decision-making tools, and all risk, compliance and governance requirements
What you’ll bring
- Previous customer service experience, ideally in a fast-paced or contact centre environment
- Insurance industry experience is desirable but not essential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-first mindset
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Confidence using computer systems and applications such as Word and Excel
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Resilience and adaptability in a busy, customer-facing environment
