Commercial Motor Claims Officer (Commercial, Fleet and Leasing)
We’re looking for a customer-focused and commercially minded Claims Officer to manage end-to-end Commercial, Fleet and Leasing motor claims.
This role is all about strong relationships, sound judgement and delivering quality outcomes for customers, brokers and partners.
We have two 12-month contract opportunities available, based in Melbourne.
What you’ll do
- Manage end-to-end Commercial, Fleet and Leasing motor claims with a strong customer focus
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, proactively keeping customers, brokers and stakeholders informed
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Fleet clients, including acting as a key point of contact at time of claim
- Assess information, develop action plans and make sound claims decisions
- Negotiate settlements, strategy and outcomes while managing claim costs effectively
- Identify fraud, recovery and salvage opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement

- Proven experience delivering excellent customer service in a high-volume environment
- Strong communication, listening and relationship-building skills
- Confidence in decision making, negotiation and managing complex conversations
- Sound judgement, commercial awareness and cost management capability
- Ability to manage competing priorities while balancing speed, quality and accuracy
- Resilience, accountability and a willingness to learn and grow
Experience and qualifications
- Previous motor claims experience preferred (commercial or fleet highly regarded)
- ANZIIF qualifications desirable but not essential
