About the Role
As the DI Finance Product Manager, you will support the successful delivery of the Finance and Advice stream within the Digital Insurer program. Acting as the connection between Finance and Technology, you will ensure finance requirements, systems, and regulatory obligations are embedded across discovery and delivery. You will work closely with finance SMEs, delivery squads, and technical teams to plan and deliver meaningful outcomes.
This is a 12-month contract opportunity.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with Finance subject matter experts to analyse business needs and translate them into clear business and technical requirements that support program delivery
- Support backlog prioritisation across discovery and delivery squads, managing dependencies and constraints to keep work aligned to program objectives
- Maintain a strong focus on finance systems, controls, and regulatory requirements throughout delivery, ensuring solutions meet business and risk expectations
- Collaborate with architects and Data and Enterprise Technology teams to keep data roadmaps aligned with finance priorities and future needs
- Prepare clear communication and presentation materials that help senior leaders understand requirements, impacts, and recommendations
- Build trusted relationships across Finance, Technology, and delivery squads to ensure cohesive planning and execution
What You’ll Bring
- Extensive experience delivering finance transformation initiatives, including defining and managing business requirements in complex programs
- Proven ability to work closely with technical teams, supporting the translation of business needs into technical specifications and solution outcomes
- Experience supporting product backlogs and delivery planning within agile or squad-based environments
- Strong understanding of finance systems, controls, and regulatory environments within financial services or insurance
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders through structured documentation and presentations
- Degree in business, commerce, technology, or equivalent experience delivering finance-focused initiatives
