Our Actuarial Results team plays a critical role in delivering high-quality reserving outcomes that underpin financial strength, regulatory compliance, and informed decision-making across the business.
We’re looking for an Actuarial Analyst to provide actuarial, analytical and technical support across consolidated valuation and reporting activities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to core financial and regulatory deliverables while developing your actuarial expertise in a collaborative, high-performing environment.
What you’ll do
- Support the delivery of actuarial valuation and reporting outcomes across multiple insurance portfolios
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual financial and regulatory reporting requirements
- Assist in the preparation and review of reserving results and related analysis
- Perform data extraction, preparation, validation and analysis to ensure high-quality outputs
- Assess the reasonableness of models, assumptions and results
- Document methodologies, processes and investigations clearly and accurately
- Prepare reports and insights to support internal and external stakeholders
What you’ll bring
- A relevant degree in Statistics, Actuarial Studies, Engineering, Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science or a related field (mandatory)
- Progression through Part I and II Actuarial Exams (desired)
- Previous relevant actuarial or analytical experience (desired)
- Strong analytical aptitude with attention to detail
- Experience with Excel for spreadsheet modelling
- Exposure to SQL or SAS for data extraction (preferred)
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently to meet deadlines
