About the Role:
As our business continues to grow and evolve, we’re seeking an experienced Senior Claims Officer with strong strata property claims expertise to play a pivotal role within our Claims team.
In this hands-on position, you’ll manage your own portfolio of complex claims while also helping shape and improve claims processes. You’ll act as a technical expert, providing guidance, advice, and support to Claims Officers and contributing to a best-in-class claims experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage a portfolio of Vero Specialty Lines claims from start to end
- Providing expert advice on complex claims as a subject matter expert
- Designing and documenting claims processes to drive efficiency and quality outcomes
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Mentoring, training, and supporting the development of Claims Officers
- Supporting onboarding of new team members.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing property claims (with exposure to strata)
- Experience mentoring or training others (highly regarded)
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capability
- Clear, confident communication and negotiation skills.
