About The Role
As a Team Leader in Fraud and Intelligence, you will oversee investigative operations to deliver quality outcomes, strong risk management, and customer-focused decisions. You will guide a team of investigators, balance operational priorities, and contribute to continuous improvement across processes, controls, and capability.
What You'll Do
- Lead day-to-day investigative operations, ensuring cases are managed thoroughly, efficiently, and in line with legal and organisational standards.
- Provide clear direction, coaching, and feedback to support performance, accountability, and capability uplift within the team.
- Review and approve investigative reports, managing risk, quality assurance, and compliance requirements.
- Partner with internal stakeholders such as Risk, Underwriting, and Leadership teams to deliver aligned outcomes.
- Support effective resource planning, workload management, and budget considerations to meet productivity targets.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture that prioritises safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring
- Demonstrated leadership experience within insurance or financial services, with hands-on experience leading teams.
- Applied investigations experience, including managing cases, reviewing outcomes, and maintaining strong compliance standards.
- Sound decision-making and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess risk and apply practical solutions.
- Experience engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including internal partners and external agencies.
- A customer-focused mindset, balancing ethical investigation practices with fair and respectful customer interactions.
- Qualifications in Insurance, Law, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience, will be well regarded.
