The primary purpose of the role is to provide leadership and operational support to the Motor Claims Customers Towing team, which is responsible for coordinating timely and cost-effective tows of damaged vehicles.

What you’ll do (not limited to):

  • Leading and coaching a customer focused, agile and highly engaged team to deliver desired performance outcomes against agreed business objectives.
  • Leading a culture of innovation by proactively reviewing systems and processes including recommending solutions at team and department level.
  • Building strategies for creating and sustaining a unified and engaged team culture.
  • Proactively managing Towing WIP and workflow to improve customer outcomes and claim management.
  • Collaborate with providers to coordinate tows to support timely assessments of vehicles.
  • Monitor overall Towing spend to ensure costings are consistent with agreements and legislation.

What you will bring:

  • Minimum 8 years’ professional experience most of which spent leading teams (mandatory).
  • Demonstrated customer relations and complaint management experience.
  • Proven ability to lead a diverse, flexible team; genuine passion for people leadership.
  • High level organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work from several different directions and manage workflow proactively.
  • Proven experience in customer services; adopts a customer obsessed mindset.
