Claims Specialist

We’re here to help in the moments that matter. Our Major Loss Motor Claims team understands how stressful motor accidents and damage from weather events can be. Our Claim Specialists are Customer obsessed experts who manage claims with empathy and understanding to get our customers Back On The Road as quickly as possible. As the Claims expert our Specialists understand what’s required to finalise a customer’s Major Loss claim in a timely manner, helping to deliver on our Motor Strategy of being #100% Motivated to get our customers back on the road.

We are currently looking for customer service experts to join our Major Loss Motor Claims team permanently commencing June 17th.

 

What you’ll do

  • Successfully manage the Major Loss claims experience on behalf of the customer, by delivering a brilliant customer experience when our customers need us the most. This requires you to connect with the customer, empathise with their situation and be a claims expert, settling their Major Loss Claim in a timely manner
  • Conducting a number of checks to ensure all applicable steps are completed prior and during the customer conversation
  • Contribute to financial outcomes by effectively finalising a major loss claim and demonstrating a first call resolution mindset.
  • Resolve enquiries in a timely manner with both our inbound and outbound calls whilst you meet daily settlement targets.


What you’ll bring

  • Previous experience in a high touch customer service environment (note this is a phone-based role)
  • Demonstrated ability to go above and beyond for customers
  • Willingness to apply feedback and coaching to achieve targets and expectations
  • High levels of resilience and empathy
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems
  • Be flexible and open to change in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Ownership and Accountability of your own development and career.

 

Shift Option and Training

We are looking for several full-time positions for the following shift options. A start window means you can be rostered to start at any time between those shown below.

 

  • Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week - Start Window 8am – 10am. 

 

If successful, you will attend 5 weeks full-time training, Monday to Friday, in the relevant office and virtually in your respective site.
