Be accountable for building a world class capability within our Data Science space, leading a team of expert Data Scientists and Data Business Analysts. You will help to improve domain and capability knowledge of your squad by utilising your domain knowledge and technical expertise within the realm of data science, machine learning and analytics.
As a Chapter Lead, you will be accountable and responsible for the leadership and development of your chapter members through coaching and training initiatives, ensuring they are continually building their mastery and autonomy and uplifting their capabilities.
What you’ll do:
- Define the standards, processes and best practices for your Data Science Chapter and contribute to the goals of the broader Practice.
- Oversee efficient allocation of Chapter members to Tribes and Platforms in line with current and forecasted needs
- Responsible for performance management including overseeing, providing feedback, and developing team members to help improve domain and capability knowledge and better serve the Squads in which they work
- Maintain best-in-class data science expertise and resources in order to deliver the right knowledge and skills to Tribes and Platforms
- Actively collaborate across the Practices and Chapter to support the achievement of objectives.
- Leadership, development, and retention of Chapter members including career pathway development.
What you’ll bring:
- A strong passion and ability to coach, lead and develop others
- Exceptional technical subject matter experience across Analytics, Data Science, AI, or closely related discipline with demonstrated practical experience in this field
- Significant experience working in or collaborating with data & analytics functions
- Excellent knowledge/experience in the application of Agile
- Ability to translate and communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Proficient in data analytics tools and software
