System Support Advisor

Our Insurance Operations team are looking for a Systems Support Advisor to join their team in Brisbane and provide exceptional service for all queries from internal and external customers.

As a Systems Support Advisor, you will differentiate between Systems, Process and Training issues and communicate the impacts of system defects and where required, engage Technology & Operations and facilitate the incident management process on behalf of the business.

This role is a 12-month secondment opportunity based in Brisbane.

What you’ll do

• Frontline system support for the Policy and Claims stakeholders.
• Responsible for taking inbound and making outbound calls.
• Responding to customers via email and or ServiceNow.
• Differentiating (triage) between System, Process and Training issues.
• Impact assessments and Critical Incident Management (CIM) – identifying Severity 1 – 4 incidents.
• Responsible for sending communications re outages and incidents.
• Supporting systems & processes.

What you’ll bring

• Experience with general insurance products and services and claims experience is required
• Strong verbal and written skills including ability to communicate appropriately to specific audience
• Effective listening skills
• Proven success as a team player in achieving team goals
• Ability to be flexible with working hours in times of major events, e.g. storms, flood etc.
• Strong work ethic and open to learning
• Advanced level of resilience
• Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
