What you’ll do
At Shannon’s it’s all about our customers and the positive impact we can make in their lives and communities. As a Motor Enthusiast Underwriter, you will be:
- Taking incoming calls from our new and existing customers
- Providing information and product knowledge to identify the right level of insurance protection to meet the customers requirement.
- Strive to make the complex simple whilst ensuring the customers’ needs are met
- Share your passion for motoring and provide a unique service to ensure your customers can drive or ride forward with confidence, knowing they are covered by Shannons

Shifts & Hours
We are currently recruiting for full-time positions for the below shift options:
- Option 1: Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week
Fixed Start Times:
> During Daylight Savings: 8:00 AM
> Outside Daylight Savings: 9:00 AM
- Option 2: Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 37.5 hours per week
Fixed Start Times:
> During Daylight Savings: Saturday: 6:00 AM / Weekdays: 8:00 AM
> Outside Daylight Savings: Saturday: 7:00 AM / Weekdays: 9:00 AM

Training Period
If successful, we are offering 7 weeks full time, paid training (Monday – Friday from 8.30am until 4.30pm), commencing on the Wednesday 23rd October 2024. This training will be held onsite at our Cannington, Perth office.
Please note after you have completed training you will transition to your allocated shift option.
Work from home requirements
As this role will be a combination of onsite attendance and work from home you will need to be set up accordingly. You will be provided with a Suncorp laptop; however, you must organise the following:
- Home phone line or VOIP connection
- Good quality internet connection, ergonomic set up including keyboard, mouse, dual screens, desk, chair and a private space.
