Head of VRO

The Role:

The Head of Value Realisation Office is responsible for leading Suncorp’s Value Realisation Office, Business Agility Centre of Excellence, and overseeing delivery transformation throughout Suncorp.

This role aims to enhance the speed, efficiency, agility and ROI of our strategic priorities. 

The role has accountability across Australia for our delivery Ways of Working transformation with the ambition to be best in class for change execution. 

What you’ll do:

• Develop and implement a multi-year Delivery Ways of Working Transformation
• Build and coach the organisation on how to delivery agile at scale
• Support strategy translation into measurable objectives with key results (OKRs)
• Establish and lead a community of practice for Product Owners
• Develop team capabilities through coaching and performance management
• Produce high quality data driven insights on the performance of change across Suncorp to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
• Develop and lead a multi-year AI Delivery Tooling strategy for the organisation
• Develop capability across our Product Ownership Chapter
• Mature our risk management practices as part of a agile at scale model
• Lead, mentor, and develop the organisation and direct reports on value realisation methodologies and mindsets
• Develop and operationalise supply and demand management across the Enterprise
• Monitor delivery performance and ensure alignment with business objectives
• Oversee portfolio prioritisation
• Optimise lean portfolio management processes
• Establish and encourage fit for purpose delivery standards, including Agile practices

What you’ll bring:

• Proven experience in project and portfolio management, ideally in a leadership capacity
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile
• Excellent leadership and team development skills
• Effective communication and presentation abilities to senior leadership
