We have a full time permanent opportunity to join an opportunity to join a talented, highly motivated and engaged team as a Policy Operations Consultant. Your role is to provide outstanding customer service to both internal & external customers through timely, accurate and efficient processing of all enquiries and tasks within the Operations Team to ensure we are perceived as being flexible, responsive and easy to do business with

This role follows a hybrid working model, which means you'll have the flexibility to work remotely as well as from the office on specific designated days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate and timely processing of policy & client changes/maintenance including responding to all written, email, face to face and telephone enquiries from customers, intermediaries, other departments and external service providers.
  • Correctly processing policy transactions (new business, renewals, endorsements and cancellations).
  • Contacting external customers to resolve any transaction issues.
  • Applying underwriting authority within guidance & compliance requirements.
  • Perform other operational related tasks as directed by Team Leaders, Operations
  • Identify and own, your personal development needs, via individual performance appraisals and associated learning tools.
  • Assisting with training other team members as required

 

 

 

What we are looking for:

  • Previous operational and/or administrative experience within the insurance industry
  • Experience in identifying and resolving escalated customer queries
  • Computer, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Administration skills to a competent level
  • General insurance market understanding
  • Organisation and time management skills to provide accurate high volume work output
  • Sound database knowledge
